No fewer than 200 residents of Ikeja, Lagos State, benefited from a free medical and health education outreach organised by the KB Club.
The two-day event was held as part of activities marking the club’s 57th anniversary and was organised in collaboration with The LIFE KB Club, with the endorsement of the Ikeja Local Government.
The event, themed “Better Health Today, Brighter Hope for Tomorrow,” featured a Mother and Child Health Outreach as well as a Medico-Dental Health Outreach.
The programme provided residents with free health services, including blood pressure and blood sugar checks, breast and cervical cancer screenings, prostate screenings, dental consultations and oral healthcare, eye tests, physiotherapy assessments and medical consultations.
More than 200 delivery kits were also distributed to pregnant women to support safe childbirth.
