When Nigeria’s human resource professionals gathered in Abuja for the 58th Annual International Conference of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, one message ran through the conversations: organisations must move beyond activities and demonstrate measurable impact.
For PUNCH, that message had particular resonance.
Three years after embarking on a workplace transformation programme designed to put employees at the centre of its operations, strengthen performance and digitise processes, the company emerged as the winner of the 2026 HR Optimisation Award for Organisational Development and Change Management Initiative, Category B.
