On Tuesday, at the Government House, the Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, Rt Hon Muhammad Awwal Jatau, inaugurated 20 digital multifunctional ultrasound machines along with 73 shock garments valued at approximately ā¦625m for allocation to secondary and primary health facilities statewide.
During the commissioning, the Deputy Governor emphasized that this initiative would enhance maternal and child health services throughout the state.
He stated, āOur administration is dedicated to facilitating access to quality healthcare services, especially for women and children. When their needs are efficiently met, it alleviates overall burdens.ā
Additionally, he pledged that the administration would maintain collaborations with donor agencies and international development partners to secure support aimed at enhancing healthcare services.
