A youth empowerment initiative that links sports with technology and environmental sustainability has been launched in Lagos, with students from 10 schools receiving technology devices and sports equipment.
The third edition of Project 9-12 was organised by JustUsed Tech in partnership with Passback, with support from the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency and other partners. It is aimed at widening access to digital tools and sporting opportunities for young people.
The participating schools are Wesley Girls’ Senior Secondary School; Lagos City Senior College, Sabo-Yaba; Aiyetoro Senior Grammar School, Ebute-Metta; Oke-Odo Junior High School; Mainland Senior High School, Fadeyi; Mainland Junior High School, Fadeyi; Birrel Avenue Senior High School, Sabo-Yaba; Victokev Schools, Ikorodu; Jibowu Junior High School, Yaba; and Eletu Odibo Senior High School, Abule-Oja, Yaba.
