2027: Tegbe rallies Oyo APC, woos support for Tinubu’s re-election

The Minister of Power, Joseph Tegbe, has begun mobilising All Progressives Congress members and stakeholders across Oyo State for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and the victory of other party candidates in the 2027 general elections.

Tegbe kicked off the statewide campaign in Ibadan on Sunday with strategic meetings involving party leaders, executives and community stakeholders from Ibadan South-East and Ibadan North Local Government Areas, where he called for unity and stronger grassroots mobilisation ahead of the polls.

“We must take this mobilisation to every ward and polling unit across Oyo State. Our victory in 2027 will depend on our ability to unite our members, engage the people and convince them of the benefits of continuity under President Tinubu,” Tegbe said.

Making a case for Tinubu’s re-election, the minister said the President’s power sector reforms were beginning to yield improvements, expressing optimism that ongoing federal interventions would improve electricity
