Diz Generation, a foundation and community initiative focused on supporting young people through art, education and health awareness, has sensitised students to menstrual health and safety.
It also donated sanitary pads and gift items to about 75 young girls at Adiahaobong Secondary School in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The programme featured talks on personal hygiene and health, menstrual health, confidence and personal safety. Students also participated in an art and creative activity and received gifts.
The initiative took place in commemoration of the 2026 Girls’ Child Day outreach at the school.
The outreach was led by Okoye Chukwuemeka, founder of Diz Generation, and Sussana Amba Enighe, co-founder, with support from team members.
Addressing the students, Chukwuemeka said the foundation is committed to helping young people discover their talents, express themselves creatively, access important health information and build the confidence needed to pursue their ambitions.
