Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Jibrin Barau, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election, citing assessments by political analysts and the prevailing political situation in the country.
Barau spoke on Sunday at the inauguration of campaign committees for Dawakin Tofa, Tofa, and Rimin Gado Local Government Areas in Kano State, where he urged All Progressives Congress members to unite and work toward victory for all the party’s candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
According to a statement issued by his media aide, Ismail Mudashir, the senator said the foundation laid by Tinubu during his first term would yield positive results in his second term.
“Based on the assessments of political analysts and the current state of Nigerian politics, all indications suggest that, by Allah’s grace, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the presidential election,” he said.
