The Nigeria Christian Civil Chaplain Corps, a national Christian faith-based organisation committed to chaplaincy services, peace advocacy, patriotism and community development in Nigeria, has expressed confidence that all victims of insecurity across the country would be safely rescued and reunited with their families.

It also challenged Christian leaders, religious organisations and people of faith to continue to pray for Nigeria, emphasising the role of spiritual support in promoting peace, unity and national progress in the country.

The Corps Commanding Officer of the organisation, Chaplain Daniel Joe Alimi, expressed the hope in his Democracy Day message made available to our correspondent in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Friday.

Alimi, who noted that the organisation has offered prayers for all victims of insecurity across the country, called on Nigerians to rise above division, fear and despair and embrace unity, patriotism, faith and national responsibility as the country marks the 2026 Democracy Day.
