
The newly elected President of the Royalty Club of Egbaland, Babatunde Alimi, has reaffirmed the association’s commitment to positively impact the lives of Nigerians through healthcare interventions and sports development initiatives.
Speaking shortly after his inauguration, Alimi said the club has, over the years, contributed significantly to alleviating health challenges in communities through free medical outreaches, provision of drugs, referrals to secondary and tertiary healthcare facilities, as well as free surgical procedures.
He also noted that the organisation has played an active role in promoting squash in Nigeria, particul arly through youth engagement programmes aimed at nurturing young talents and raising the country’s profile in international competitions.
He said, “Over the years, we have organised free medical outreaches for people, provided free medication and referrals to secondary and tertiary health facilities to restore their health. We have also conducted free surgeries and contributed to the growth of squash in Nigeria
