
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to deepening collaboration with traditional institutions and leaders across the Northern part of the country.
The president said such collaboration aims to serve as a key strategy for addressing insecurity, promoting national cohesion, and driving sustainable development in Nigeria.
Tinubu said this while speaking at the eighth Executive Committee Meeting of the Northern Traditional Rulers’ Council (NTRC) on Monday in Dutse, Jigawa State.
Represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, the president delivered the message to traditional rulers and stakeholders from across Northern Nigeria.
“The administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu fully recognises the strategic role of traditional institutions and remains committed to deepening engagement with traditional rulers in advancing peace, security, national cohesion, and development,” Idris said.
