
The candidate of the African Democratic Congress in the August 15 Osun governorship poll, Dr Najeem Salaam, has described the ruling of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, which ordered the deregistration of the party, as a miscarriage of justice.
Salaam, in a statement he personally signed, obtained on Monday in Osogbo, however, said appropriate legal processes will correct the judicial pronouncement and protect the democratic rights of millions of Nigerians who have chosen the ADC as their political platform.
He declared that the judgment cannot stand as it is neither the end of the legal process nor the end of the political journey of the party.
