The Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Ayodele Ogunsan, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration, Lagos State Command, Khan Salihu, describing him as an officer whose life was defined by professionalism, humility and selfless service.
Ogunsan stated in a statement made available to PUNCH Metro on Wednesday that the passing of the senior police officer was a painful loss to the wider security community in Lagos State, where he played a key administrative role within the command.
He sympathised with the family of the deceased, the Inspector-General of Police, the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, as well as officers and men of the command.
“We have lost an angel. DCP Khan Salihu was one of the finest officers I had the privilege of knowing. He was cultured, extremely nice, humble, and always willing to lend a hand.
