Man Arrested in Poland Over Killing of Putin’s Critic

Polish authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of Russian artist and outspoken Kremlin critic Semyon Skrepetsky, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on Thursday. 

The arrest comes days after the artist, whose real name was Robert Kuzovkov, was fatally shot in the eastern Polish town of Biala Podlaska on Monday. According to reports, the victim was shot three times by an armed assailant and then approached on the ground for two additional shots at close range in what appeared to be a targeted killing. 

The detained man is reported to be using a Georgian passport, Tusk said on X (formerly Twitter). Polish services are continuing their investigation to identify who may have ordered the killing.
