
Newly appointed Head of the 4th Administration of the Directorate of State, DOS, of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Chris Nwaogu, has declared that, henceforth, unity is non-negotiable in the organization.
Nwaogu made the declaration in his acceptance speech, following his appointment as Head of the 4th Administration of the IPOB DOS on Wednesday.
DAILY POST reports that IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, on Wednesday dissolved the 3rd administration of the DOS, headed by Chika Edoziem. The Directorate of State was established by Kanu in 2012 as the administrative arm of IPOB. Since its inception, the directorate has been by Dr. Justin Akujieze, Head of the 1st Administration, Mazi Uchenna Asiegbu, Head of the 2nd Administration, and Edoziem, Head of the 3rd Administration.
In his acceptance speech, made available to journalists on Thursday, Nwaogu demanded that all IPOB members should close ranks behind Kanu, who is currently serving a life sentence in Sokoto prison, following his conviction on terrorism charges by the Nigerian government.
Nwaogu thanked Kanu for the appointment, pledging unwavering loyalty to the organization. He equally paid tributes to the IPOB leader as well as other members and agitators who have made sacrifices in the quest for a Biafra nation, including those who lost their lives in the struggle.
