Tems, the Nigerian songstress, delivered a standout performance at the inauguration of the Barack Obama presidential centre in Chicago on Thursday.
The former US president officially unveiled the centre, which houses a museum, library, and educational facilities dedicated to preserving his administration’s legacy.
During the ceremony, Tems performed her 2024 hit single ‘Me & U’ for over three minutes, drawing applause from the audience with her smooth vocal delivery.

Attendees were seen dancing along before giving her a warm ovation at the conclusion of her set.
The event featured an impressive lineup of musical acts, including Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Bono and The Edge, Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera, Common, Eddie Vedder, and Jennifer Hudson.
Latin music star Marc Anthony, band The Roots, and actress Marsai Martin were also in attendance.
