A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has declared that the party’s triumph in Ekiti will be replicated in Osun during the August 15 governorship election.
Speaking to journalists in Osogbo on Sunday, Oyintiloye described Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election in Ekiti as “well deserved” and a historic endorsement of progressive governance.
He insisted that the APC in Osun is fully prepared to secure a landslide victory.“The victory secured by the APC in Ekiti will be replicated in Osun. The party is widely accepted by the people, and this is a clear signal to the ruling party to brace for defeat. Our candidate is ready, the party is ready, and the electorate is ready to repeat the same victory in Osun,” he said.
Oyintiloye, a former lawmaker, argued that the Ekiti result reflected the people’s confidence in development-focused leadership.
