Dikko Umaru Radda, governor of Katsina State has expanded the state’s automatic employment policy to include all first-class graduates of Katsina origin from higher institutions across Nigeria.
The governor made the announcement at the closing ceremony of the First Katsina State Students’ Week, organised by the Katsina State Government through the Office of the Special Assistant on Student Matters at Bayero University, Kano on Monday.
Under the previous arrangement, automatic employment was reserved for first-class graduates from institutions within Katsina State. The new directive broadens the opportunity to all indigenes of the state who graduate with first-class honours nationwide.
“I am pleased to announce the expansion of our employment initiative. Previously, automatic job opportunities were offered to first-class graduates within the state. Today, I extend this to all first-class graduates from Katsina State across institutions nationwide.
