An International Friendship League has said that the Nigeran electorate requires sound education to make the right ĺeadership choices during elections.
The group made this known during a lecture to commemorate the 2026 Democracy Day where participants drawn from the academia domiciled in Niger State said that the country’s election outcome is far from desirable.
The participants in the lecture titled: “Sustainable Democracy In Nigeria present and future perspective,” Stresed that the crop of leaders the country parades has not ensured the welfare and security of the populace and by extemsion have failed to address the two basic requirements of democratic governance.
The Chairman of the International Friendship lLeague Prof Alkndele Ojo in his opening remarks disclosed that the aim of the gathering was to profer solutions to the mirade of problems militating against the country’s political advancement.
