
President Bola Tinubu on Thursday congratulated Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on his 61st birthday and his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, on his 64th birthday.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described Sanwo-Olu’s contributions to the development of Lagos State as remarkable.
The President said the governor had combined his private and public sector experience to advance economic, infrastructural and cultural development in the state.
“Governor Sanwo-olu’s efforts in consolidating on the economic, infrastructural, and cultural transformation of Lagos State into a vibrant, dynamic and structured global city, with growing influence across the country, and the world are remarkable,” the statement read.
He also commended the governor for strengthening Lagos’ position as a centre of excellence and praised his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress and the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
