Dangote Cement Plc has commissioned a state-of-the-art cassava processing plant in Ogun State, a move aimed at enhancing food security in Nigeria.
The plant, located in Kajola Host Community, Ewekoro Local Government Area, will process cassava into garri and fufu, among other products, and is expected to support local farmers and boost agricultural value addition.
The company described the project as a strategic intervention aimed at boosting agricultural value addition, reducing post-harvest losses and strengthening livelihoods for rural farmers and women.
