Stakeholders hail Zamfara for reviving bandit-hit economy

Not a few stakeholders in Zamfara State have lauded a town hall meeting targeted at improving collaboration, strengthening policy implementation, and laying a stronger foundation for the state’s sustainable economic growth.

The stakeholders told Arewa PUNCH that they further hail the Zamfara Government for also introducing new strategies aimed at strengthening the economic development of the state which has been severely devastated by banditry attacks.

The initiative was announced during a Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) Town Hall meeting held in Gusau by the state focal person of the program, Alhaji Sani Bukkuyum.

Bukkuyum who is also the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning said the new approach was designed to deepen collaboration among stakeholders and build a unified development agenda capable of delivering sustainable economic outcomes for the state.
