
Former Chief of Army Staff and Nigeria’s ambassador to China, Abdulrahman Dambazau, has participated in the fourth Forum on Developing Countries and International Law, reaffirming the country’s commitment to multilateral cooperation and a rules-based international order.
The two-day conference, themed “International Rule of Law and Global Governance: Vision for Sustaining Peace and Advancing Prosperity,” was jointly organised by the Chinese Society of International Law, the Institute of International Law at Wuhan University and the Asian Academy of International Law in Hong Kong.
The Nigerian embassy in Beijing was among the invited participants at the forum, which brought together diplomats, policymakers, legal experts, academics and international affairs specialists from across the world.
The conference examined contemporary challenges confronting the international rule of law and global governance while exploring solutions to promote peace, stability, sustainable development and shared prosperity.
