
A member of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ijebu North I State Constituency, Rasheed Kashamu, has thrown his weight behind President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, saying the President deserves a second term to consolidate the reforms initiated by his administration.
Kashamu, son of the late Senator Buruji Kashamu and a member of the All Progressives Congress, said in a statement on Sunday that Tinubu assumed office at a difficult period in the country’s history but had demonstrated courage by implementing bold economic reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth.
The lawmaker said that although the reforms came with initial hardships, they were beginning to produce positive results across critical sectors of the economy.
