UNICEF, partners pool N464m supplies to support Bauchi’s 2026 MNCH Week

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and other partners have pooled together N464 million worth of supplies to support the Bauchi State Government for the implementation of the first half of the 2026 Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Week, which began on Monday, June 29.

The disclosure was made by the Chief of Field Office, Bauchi Field Office of UNICEF, Dr Nuzhat Raffique, while speaking at the flag-off of the exercise at the UNICEF-supported Domiciliary Health Centre, Yelwa, Bauchi.

She said: “We at UNICEF are happy to be part of the transition from isolation to integrated campaign in Bauchi. And I am grateful to the Executive Chairman, BSPHCB, Dr. Rilwanu Mohammed.
