Dikko Umaru Radda, Chairman of the North-West Governors’ Forum and Governor of Katsina State, on Monday, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as bold economic reforms and visionary leadership aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth and prosperity.
Governor Radda spoke during the commissioning of the National Community Food Bank (North-West) and other landmark projects in Jigawa State by Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria.
The First Lady inaugurated the National Community Food Bank, described as the first of its kind in the country, alongside the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Academy, the rehabilitated 29-kilometre Hadejia–Garun Gabas Road, Oluremi Tinubu Clinics and other strategic projects designed to improve food security, healthcare, education and infrastructure in the region.
Describing the Food Bank as a historic intervention, Governor Radda said it demonstrated the First Lady’s commitment to tackling food insecurity and supporting vulnerable Nigerians.
