2027: “I’ll Win Without Peter Obi” — Rhodes-Vivour Reveals Plan to Defeat APC

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congres

s (ADC) in Lagos State, has expressed confidence in his ability to defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 governorship election, even without the direct political backing of former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Rhodes-Vivour made this known while speaking on The Morning Brief on Thursday, where he addressed growing questions over his political strategy following Obi’s exit from the ADC.

Both Rhodes-Vivour and Obi were key figures in the 2023 Nigerian general election under the Labour Party. Their campaigns gained massive public support, especially from the Obidient movement, which played a major role in boosting the party’s performance in both the presidential and Lagos governorship elections.
