NDC Demands Immediate Sack of Gbajabiamila Over ‘Fake Agency’ Scandal

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has called for the immediate removal of the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, over allegations linking him to a controversial scandal surrounding the alleged Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).

The opposition party said Gbajabiamila should be suspended from office to allow for what it described as an independent and transparent investigation into the matter.

In a statement issued on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, the party raised concerns over the growing controversy surrounding the alleged agency, which the Presidency has reportedly denied knowledge of.

According to the NDC, the scandal has raised serious concerns about accountability, transparency and governance under the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

The party alleged that the PFIPC, despite being described as a non-existent agency, was reportedly able to secure budgetary allocations in the 2026 budget and also open multiple financial accounts with the Central Bank of
