The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF) has declared that Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, acted as a whistleblower rather than a suspect in the controversy surrounding the fake Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).
In a statement signed by its National President, Alhaji Mohammed Aliyu, the group praised Gbajabiamila for promptly alerting security agencies after uncovering suspicious activities linked to the non-existent agency.
According to the Presidency, Gbajabiamila raised the alarm on October 17, 2025, through a formal letter to the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Police Force, following complaints from the Nigerian Investment Promotion Council (NIPC).
The Presidency had earlier explained that Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi allegedly masterminded the scam by forging official documents, creating a fake government agency, and securing unauthorized office space at the Federal Secretariat.
Gbajabiamila reportedly provided evidence of forged appointment letters with falsified signatures and seals.
