Nigerian woman, Habibat Salawudeen Ihiovi-Jack, has completed an extraordinary 144-hour Bible reading marathon in a bid to set a new Guinness World Record, drawing admiration for her endurance, discipline and unwavering devotion to Scripture.
The marathon began on June 22, 2026, and saw Habibat spend six consecutive days reading passages from the Bible in what many have described as a remarkable demonstration of faith and perseverance.
Throughout the challenge, supporters followed her journey closely, cheering her on as she pressed through hours of continuous reading to share the Bible’s message with a global audience and inspire others through her act of devotion.
