The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, says his administration is intensifying efforts to empower young entrepreneurs and strengthen business activities across the state.
This is as he noted that Osogbo and surrounding communities are increasingly experiencing expanded commercial operations.
Adeleke said the state has witnessed a significant boost in economic activities since he assumed office, adding that his government is deliberately creating an environment that supports investment and private sector growth.
Speaking at the commissioning of a Backroom Lounge in Osogbo, the governor, who was represented by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Bunmi Jenyo, said parts of the state capital are now operating a growing 24-hour economy.
“The state capital and some communities close to it are currently running 24-hour economy, describing the development as an indication of a significant boost in commercial activities stimulated by the state government,” he said.
