Akwa Ibom Gov Eno Reveals Why Nigerians Will Re-Elect Tinubu in 2027

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has expressed confidence that Nigerians will re-elect President Bola Tinubu for a second term in the 2027 general election, citing the administration’s economic policies and increased funding to states.

Speaking during an interview on Tuesday, Eno said Tinubu’s government has provided state governments with the financial resources needed to execute critical development projects.

According to the governor, Akwa Ibom has benefited from the improved funding, enabling his administration to undertake major infrastructure and social welfare initiatives, including the construction of over 1,300 kilometres of roads, 458 compassionate homes, support programmes for 12,000 elderly citizens, hospitals across the state’s 31 local government areas, and solar-powered schools.

“President Tinubu has made funding available for us to execute all these projects. We have built roads, compassionate homes, hospitals, and modern schools because the resources are there,” Eno said.
