For the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Aranmolate Rasheed Ayobami, the journey of Grandville was never originally planned in the form it exists today. What began as a professional transition eventually evolved into one of the growing indigenous healthcare brands in Nigeria.
Reflecting on the early days, Dr. Ayobami explained that towards the end of his residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, his primary ambition was to relocate to the United States for further training, particularly in laser medicine and advanced surgical exposure. Having successfully completed the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK examinations and already paid for the Clinical Skills examination at the time, the pathway appeared clear.
