Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has vowed to reveal the names of politicians allegedly sponsoring the abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State if the attacks persist.
Igboho made the statement while hosting newly elected leaders of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) at his Ibadan residence.
In a video now circulating online, he accused certain politicians of providing funds and weapons to bandits responsible for the kidnapping of 47 pupils in Oriire Local Government Area.
He claimed he had offered to lead efforts to dislodge the criminals but was blocked by the Oyo State Government, which warned that any attempt to storm the hideouts could endanger the victims.
“I know the politicians behind them. If they don’t stop, I will mention their names. They are the ones giving them ammunition and money,” Igboho said, adding that the same tactics used to destabilize past administrations were now being deployed
