Sunday Adeyemo, Yoruba Nation agitator, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has threatened to expose politicians he alleges are sponsoring banditry and kidnappings in Oyo State, including the recent abduction of scores of pupils in Oriire Local Government Area.
Speaking while receiving the newly elected leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), led by Akinteye Babatunde, at his residence in Ibadan on Wednesday, Igboho claimed he knew the identities of politicians backing criminal elements operating in the state.
The comments came amid growing public outrage over the May 15 abduction of dozens of pupils and teachers from three schools in Oriire Local Government Area. Igboho alleged that the sponsors were providing bandits with weapons, ammunition and financial support, warning that he would publicly name them
