Ex-minister Adelabu’s family abduction shows no Nigerian is safe under Tinubu – Atiku

 Former Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the abduction of former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu’s family members in Ibadan, Oyo State.

 

In a statement on Wednesday by his spokesperson, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku said the unfortunate incident showed that no Nigerian is safe under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

 

Recall that Adelabu’s sister and her children were abducted by kidnappers.

 

The Oyo State Police Command confirmed the abduction and announced that an investigation is ongoing.

 

Reacting, Atiku condemned the incident and called for the victims’ unconditional release.

 

He expressed solidarity with the Adelabu family and noted that the unfortunate incident once again exposes the frightening depth of Nigeria’s insecurity crisis.
