JUST IN: Anambra State Govt Drags ‘Fake Pastors’ to Court [VIDEO]


The Anambra State Government this morning arraigned eight alleged fake pastors before the court for violating the state’s 2025 Homeland Security Law.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the prosecution is led by State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN.

The individuals arraigned include Peter Chukwu, Chinedu Egwuonwu, Bishop Emeka Nwankpa, Ebele Nnachukwu, Ekeleme Chris Ugochukwu, Ndubisi Nnachukwu, Miracle Iruoma, and Chukwukadibia Ogwuama.

The arraignment follows a crackdown launched last month by Governor Chukwuma Soludo against fraudulent religious operators within the state.

Soludo had accused the suspects of exploiting vulnerable citizens through the deceptive preaching of “salvation without the cross.”

Speaking at an event in Awka, Governor Soludo revealed that several of these individuals were already in state custody and had begun making useful confessions regarding their illicit operations.
