N36m Fraud: Blessing CEO Remains in Custody as Court Reserves Bail Ruling

The Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, has reserved its ruling on the bail application of controversial social media influencer and self-styled relationship expert, Blessing CEO, in connection with an alleged N36 million fraud case.

Justice D.I. Dipeolu adjourned the matter until June 9, 2026, after hearing submissions from both parties on Friday.

Blessing CEO, whose real name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, is facing a two-count charge filed by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), bordering on alleged obtaining by false pretence and stealing.

According to the EFCC, the influencer allegedly collected N36 million from Mrs Ifeyinwa Nonye Okoye between July 14 and July 17, 2024, under the guise of securing a lease for a six-bedroom detached duplex in Lekki, Lagos.

The anti-graft agency claimed the representation was false and that the money was later diverted for personal use.
