
Amid growing insecurity, traditional rulers in Ogun State have reaffirmed their commitment to the safety of their communities, stressing that the security of lives and property remains their foremost priority.
The monarchs noted that maintaining peace and stability is essential for social and economic development, adding that they have continued to collaborate with security agencies and residents to strengthen local security networks.
The traditional rulers made this known at the Annual Security Meeting of the Egba Traditional Council, led by the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.
The meeting was presided over by the Olofin of Isheri, Oba Sulaiman Bamgbade, according to a statement on Friday signed by the Office of Media and Publicity of the Palace of Olofin of Isheri.
In his opening remarks, the Alake of Egbaland emphasised that the security of lives and property remains a top priority of traditional rulers.
