Police arrest three suspected kidnappers in Abuja after viral armed video

The Federal Capital Territory FCT Police  Command has arrested three suspected kidnappers who were allegedly captured in a viral video wearing military camouflage and brandishing AK-47 rifles, ammunition, and walkie-talkies.

Ahmed Sanusi, FCT Commissioner of Police, CP, confirmed the development, saying the arrests followed “painstaking investigation and diligent pursuit” after the disturbing footage circulated online.

According to him, upon receiving the viral video and related images, he immediately ordered a comprehensive forensic analysis to determine the source and authenticity of the content, as well as the identities of those involved.

He also directed operatives to track and apprehend the suspects without delay.
