Borno South Senator Ali Ndume has acknowledged growing public frustration with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, warning that the ruling party must make adjustments ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Ndume said: “Actually, I know that Nigerians are angry. I can see it, but these things can be corrected, and President Bola Tinubu is willing. We are hoping that things come up.”
He stressed that the president must evaluate his performance and make necessary changes, noting that while threats to the party’s chances exist, they are not insurmountable.
“The president should be able to evaluate himself, adjust where necessary. There’s still a need for adjustment. The threat is not what you think, but that is not to say that there is no threat,” Ndume explained.
