‘Leave NDC If You Feel Unfairly Treated’ — Bashir Ahmad Advises Kwankwaso


Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has advised the vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabi’u Kwankwaso, to leave the party if he feels he is being unfairly treated.

Ahmad made the comment in a post on his verified X handle on Monday while reacting to the replacement of some candidates earlier submitted by the Kwankwasiyya faction in Kano State to the NDC.

He said that if Kwankwaso genuinely believes he has been sidelined or treated unfairly by the party’s national leadership, then the best option would be to exit the party and pursue his political ambition elsewhere.

“If Sen Rabiu Kwankwaso genuinely believes that he has been treated unfairly by the national leadership of the NDC, then the most appropriate course of action would be to leave the party and pursue his political ambition on another platform,” he wrote.
