Primate Elijah Ayodele, Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a strong security warning to the Lagos State government, urging an immediate and comprehensive ban on commercial motorcycle operations (popularly known as Okada) across the state to prevent terrorist activities.
In a video message shared on social media, the prominent prophet stated that terrorists are already present in Lagos, lying in wait for an opportunity to strike, and that they predominantly use Okada for their operations due to the ease of mobility compared to vehicles.
Primate Ayodele warned: “Security alert for Lagos State government, ban Okada in every area of the state. If you don’t ban Okada riders, they will injure Lagos State.”
He further recommended severe penalties for violators, saying that any Okada rider arrested for involvement in suspicious or nefarious activities should be sentenced to 30 years in prison. He made an exception for official riders, such as those
