Following their relegation to the Championship, Wolverhampton Wanderers have released 10 players, while Tolu Arokodare looks set to remain at the club despite rumours of a potential exit, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Arokodare joined the club last summer for £24m on a four-year deal, but it appeared the Nigerian could be shipped out this summer after a disappointing first season.
He looked increasingly likely to leave the club at the end of the just-concluded campaign following a dressing-room altercation with teammate Mateus Mane.
The former Racing Genk forward scored six goals and provided two assists in 38 appearances across all competitions during his debut season at Wolves.
“Wolves have made an offer to captain Nelson Semedo to continue at Molineux as his current contract expires this summer, but the club have not taken up the option in Carlos Forbs’ loan deal, and the forward will return to Ajax,” Wolves said
