
The Anambra State government has expressed its readiness to partner with the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council to make the state a destination hub and actualise its “Vision 2070” agenda.
The Secretary to the State Government, Chiamaka Nnake, disclosed this during a one-day ‘Nationwide Town hall and State Engagement Tour’ meeting held at the International Convention Centre, Awka, on Wednesday.
Nnake said the partnership with PEBEC is aimed at driving reforms that will simplify business operations in Anambra State and the South-East region in general.
According to her, the programme organised by PEBEC, fully aligned with the state governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo’s vision of making Anambra a digital and destination hub and also to improve the state’s business climate as well as fostering transparency between businesses and regulators.
