The Chairman of Epe Local Government Council Area of Lagos State, Princess Surah Animashaun, On Wednesday, said her administration will not relent in its efforts to provide adequate security for the lives and property of the citizens and residents by continuing to partner with security agencies in the country.
A statement made available to PUNCH Online noted that Animashaun stated this today during a comprehensive security stakeholders’ meeting with key security agencies, traditional rulers, community leaders, religious leaders, market representatives, youth leaders, and other critical stakeholders across Epe Division, held at the council secretariat, Ita-Marun, Epe, Lagos state.
According to the statement, she emphasised that the security of lives and property remains a top priority of her administration while reiterating that sustainable development could only thrive in a peaceful and secure environment, stressing the need for collective responsibility in tackling emerging security challenges.
