
The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has approved the promotion of 374 officers serving in the Kwara State Police Command as part of efforts to reward diligence, professionalism and dedicated service within the Nigeria Police Force.
The promotion, which forms part of an ongoing nationwide elevation of deserving personnel across the force, affected officers across different ranks in the command.
According to a statement issued on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Kwara State Command, Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, 365 police constables were elevated to the rank of corporal, while two corporals were promoted to sergeant.
The statement added that “five sergeants were promoted to the rank of inspector, while two superintendents of police were advanced to the rank of chief superintendent of police.”
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Ojo Adekimi, congratulated the newly promoted officers, describing the elevation as recognition of their commitment, sacrifice and invaluable
