Jerry Adams, the executive chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS), has disclosed that Kaduna State is targeting a monthly Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of ₦20 billion as ongoing fiscal reforms continue to boost taxpayer confidence and revenue performance across the state.
Adams made the disclosure Today while receiving a delegation from the Association of Non-Indigenes Support Group for Governor Uba Sani, which paid him a courtesy visit and conferred on him the title of Grand Patron of the association.
The KADIRS chairman revealed that in the past three years the state’s monthly IGR has grown significantly from an average of ₦4 billion in 2023 to about ₦9 billion currently, attributing the increase to reforms aimed at improving tax administration and enhancing public trust in government.
