P-GAT Industries Ltd. has unveiled a N300 billion Fleet Integration and Transition Programme aimed at making transportation more affordable and accessible for Nigerians, particularly residents of the Northeast, while creating thousands of jobs and boosting economic activities in the region.
Speaking at a press briefing in Numan, Adamawa State, Prime Timothy, the Chairman of P-GAT Industries Ltd, said the initiative was designed to address the rising cost of transportation, which has continued to place a heavy burden on citizens and businesses across the country.
He explained that the programme, which will drive the adoption of electric mobility technologies, seeks to modernise the transportation sector, expand charging infrastructure and provide sustainable mobility solutions that will lower operational costs and ultimately reduce transport fares.
According to him, transportation remains a critical driver of economic growth, education, employment and market access, stressing that affordable and efficient mobility is essential for improving the quality
