VIDEO: Isaac Fayose knocks residents seeking money to vote in Ekiti election

Businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has criticised some residents of Ekiti State for allegedly demanding money in exchange for voting for the governorship candidate he is supporting ahead of the June 20, 2026 election.

 

In a video shared on X on Monday, Fayose expressed frustration over messages he said he received from residents asking him for money before casting their votes.

Addressing the requests, Fayose said, “I’m living a good life; it’s you that is suffering. Look at how I’m enjoying my breakfast this morning.”

 

He urged residents to vote in their own interest rather than expecting financial inducements, insisting that they should “vote them out” if they were dissatisfied with the state of governance.

 

Fayose also warned that he would block anyone who continued to send him messages requesting money in exchange for votes.
