
The family of late retired Major General Rabe Abubakar has vowed not to forgive those responsible for his abduction and eventual death in the custody of bandits.
The declaration was made by the deceased’s son, Isyaka Rabe-Abubakar, during an interaction with journalists in Katsina on Sunday.
According to him, the family has accepted the tragic incident as the will of God, but insisted that those behind the attack must face the consequences of their actions.
“We will not forgive those behind this act,” he declared.
He added, “We believe what happened to our father was destined by Allah. We believe he died a martyr and will be granted a place in Paradise.”
